How To Photograph A Fireworks Display

Many herding breed dogs dislike fireworks (and thunder storms too). Belgians often prefer to avoid the bright lights and loud booms of a fireworks display. Luckily many Belgians who hate storms tolerate fireworks quite well. Surprisingly, most cats seem to enjoy storms and fireworks. My barn animals – horses, sheep, goat and donkeys – all stand and watch the shows too.

The strong Chinese population in Vancouver makes the Lunar New Year lively and colorful. And, at Halloween the Commercial Drive neighborhood is where the Parade of Lost Souls happens. Bring your homemade lantern. There’s live music, fire dancers and costumed partiers.

Worlds of Fun: Friday night is The Buzz Party at the Park. Get special twilight tickets from 96.5 The Buzz. There will be performances from local bands, $1 hot dogs and Pepsi products, and 15% Neukundenrabatt at 10 pm. There will also be a fireworks display on Saturday night at 10 pm.

There are plenty of New Year traditions in the Russian culture and maybe of them will be familiar to Western men. In fact, that gives you the perfect conversation topic. You can compare traditions with Russian women and find common ground. It’s fun and a great way to break the ice or to get to know someone much better.

The name of this popular fair is the Brookhaven Fair. The fair stays open for about 3 weeks and comes once a year or so. They do not only have incredible rides to go on, but they have mind boggling shows. The admission is very wallet lenient as well, as the fair usually strikes deals for admission, and they send out coupons in local newspapers.

Marching bands will come from as far away as Nevada. Floats will include the ever popular Cherry Blossom Princesses. Performers from America and Japan will entertain and astound you! There will be singing, dancing and martial arts! A giant Kermit the Frog will hoover overhead sauntering along with Hello Kitty.

Washington Mystics: The Washington Mystics of the WNBA have been the league’s “attendance champions” for at least 7 times since their founding in 1998. They had the banners hanging on the arena’s rafters to prove it, although the majority were taken down after the franchise was pummeled in the press and by fans for hanging such ridiculousness above their heads. Attendance champions is a relative phrase in the WNBA as well, where an 11,338 figure can win the title in the 2009 season. Meanwhile, success on the hardwood has been harder to come by, with only one playoff series win in their short history.
